Collaborative work with Royal Dalton, Designer's Guild and Spitting Image.
Lycra table project. 2000.
In 1986 Designer's Guild produced a collection of textiles, 'Waterleaf', based on the surface pattern of my ceramics. I worked closely with Tricia Guild, head and founder of the company, and Peter Westcott in the design studio to capture the essence of the glaze qualities. Tricia continues a long standing support and championship for many artists and craftspeople.
Working with Richard on these pieces enabled me to gain an insight into a more sculptural way of thinking. The project was shown at the V&A museum in 1990.

The 'Spitting Image' workshop with Roger Law and Pablo Bach was the setting for many interesting and fruitful collaborations, one of which was, ‘The Seven Deadly Sins’ at the Victoria and Albert Museum (1991).
